METHODOLOGY

 

                We have created an Erasmus cell. It is formed by the Headteacher (he will be informed by the coordinator about: mobility activities, selection procedure of candidates (students and teachers), schedule, recognition of the mobility and financial details). Two chiefs of studies (they will publish the mobility call and the selection criteria. They will pass all the above information to the Head of the departments who will pass it to the tutors and teachers). The Administration staff (the bursar will control the financial issues, the assistants will handle the applications. They will be the bridge between our institution and the Board of Education of our Region). The tutors and the coordinator, will give information to the students and monitor them during the placements. The comission for the selection (Headteacher, chief of studies, Erasmus coordinator and the head of English) will decide the best candidates. All this information will be placed on our website (iesryc.es) and notice boards.

 

            Our institution ensures the implementation of ECTS to guarantee the quality of mobility activities and recognition procedures. The placement of higher vocational courses is part of the student curriculum and is recorded as such, being automatically given ECTS nowadays (they will be VET from next year on). The internship provides the experience to pass the module: "Formación  en el  Centro de Trabajo" (training in a company). When the student fulfills the proposed work programme and carries out the planned tasks in the learning agreement, the assesment is positive, and therefore he gets the module credits. Furthermore, we issue a Diploma Supplement to those students who do their trainship abroad.
